Technology Needed to be a Cam Performer

Interested in becoming a cam performer? I’m here with the technology needed to start your journey!

Getting the technology needed to start broadcasting isn’t difficult! Your entire camming process revolves around technology so if you get the basics at first…consider upgrading in the future!

There’s nothing worse than being mid orgasm and having your computer break down or webcam stop working. Trust me.

Computer/Internet

The first thing you need is a computer or laptop. Honestly, most newer computers will have everything you need to stream. If your laptop is ancient you may still be able to perform but you should have a minimum of 256mb. Make sure you explore and learn about your computer before broadcasting. Familiarize yourself with the specs and even recording or playing with the built in webcam.

You must also have high speed internet. Upload speed of a least 1.0Mbps. If you can connect directly into your internet, that will be best to ensure your stream does not drop. If not, that’s okay.

Webcam/Microphone

I highly recommend looking into getting the Logitech 1080p webcam (HERE). You CAN use the built in webcam on your computer but I highly recommend streaming in HD. Not only will this ensure that every pretty little hair on your asshole can be seen…but your viewers will be happy campers and it will attract more of them.

External microphones aren’t a requirement but I recommend getting one down the line. I currently use the Yeti Blue (HERE). Having a microphone ensures no surrounding noises are picked up and you are clearly heard by your viewers. Your voice is very powerful. Ensure everyone gets the full effect.

lights

Having proper lighting is a MUST for camming. Sure, you can set up shop just about anywhere but if your viewers can’t see you…what’s the point? If you aren’t able to afford lights, yet. I highly recommend using natural light from a window behind your webcam.

Otherwise, I recommend checking out this lighting set HERE.

I wish you the best of luck on your camming adventure!
