We talk a lot about how to perform as a cammer, but what about viewers?

Thousands, if not millions, of people view adult webcams every day. It is a way to relax, unwind, and indulge in fantasies without judgement. People from all walks of life enjoy watching, and there are models from all areas of the planet as well.

Whatever your taste or kink, you are sure to find a model who peeks your interest. While there is no organized set of rules for cam viewers, there are a few pieces of simple etiquette that should be practiced by members across the board. Read on to find out the do’s and don’ts of viewing cams.

1.) No personal information

The first, and in my opinion, most important rule is please, do not approach a model and expect her to meet you, fall for you, hook up with you or anything of the sort. For most of us, this makes us incredibly uncomfortable, and if there ever was a chance of anything of the sort happening, you just blew that right out the window by even asking. It is in our best interest, for many reasons, NOT to see viewers outside the site. Just sit back, enjoy the show and fantasize.

2.) A/S/L?

Second, never ask a model where she’s from/where she lives. It just isn’t safe for us. Even though you might be safe, there are plenty more viewers who are not. Consider our safety before you get upset when we say we don’t give that information. Honestly this should be understood already, but unfortunately, too often we get the same questions and the reaction when we refuse is often very rude. Just be considerate and again, enjoy the show without expecting so much.

3.) No discounts!

Third, please do not try to get discounts for the things we have advertised. The best way to put this into perspective is, this is our job. It’s how we pay our bills, feed our kids, and survive. Just like you, the viewer, we are at our job to make money. Would you work for less than what you were promised? And if someone asked you to do so, how would you feel?

Some of the things I have mentioned here may sound harsh, but they are all accurate. We are only trying to make a living like the rest of the world. Next time you are viewing a camshow, if you can, show some appreciation with a tip, no matter how small. They all make a difference. And if you can’t tip, be active in the chat. It always adds great energy to the room, and we appreciate that as much as tokens.
