Although I was a bit skeptical. It’s hard to find a good vibrating wand after experiencing your favorites. There’s always waves and waves of buzzy toys that can never measure up. Still, after using the Nomi Tang vibrator, I was delightfully refreshed… and confused.

The Nomi Tang Wand Vibrator is presented like a gift
Not only was the packaging extremely discreet, the presentation was gorgeous. I opened the white box to reveal the purple silicone wand nestled among a cushion of white silk. There’s no storage bag that comes with the toy, so this makes for a perfect place to store it before and after play. The wand is at about medium heaviness and did not hurt my hand during extensive time using it. That being said, if you have issues with weighted toys keep this in mind.
The head of the wand is silicone and flexible. The vibrations were rumbly and although not as fast as the Magic Wand, still left me easily able to obtain orgasm. I also used this with my partner and they adored it during penetration. The handle is also made of silicone so it keeps this toy non porous and easy to clean.
A fancy, touch control vibration
I had a flashback to an old home I used to visit in the past that was filled with touch-controlled lamps. There is a control panel on the side of the Nomi Tang Power Wand that is controlled by…you guessed it…touch. You can run through all the 5 different speeds and 5 different patterns by tapping your finger on the control.
So on one hand, this was an awesome addition on a toy that I had not yet seen and easy to control vs holding down a button. On the other hand, I found myself grabbing the toy to pick it up or gripping the toy in both hands during play only to have it turn on, off, or switch to patterns after I’d been riding the highest setting.
Finals words…
The Nomi Tang Power Wand is easy to use, easy to clean, splashproof, powerful and beautifully presented. That being said, my main issue was with the touch based controls. Although it was new and flashy for me, I found myself cursing it out as I struggled to not grab onto it during play. I understand that this will be cured by a travel lock, but that’s not what we’re thinking about when we’re close to an orgasm!
I really enjoyed this wand and came hard and fast. But I still find myself glaring at it for the unnecessary edging the controls provided.
